Lower Keys Medical Center Expands its Therapy Services in Key West and Big Pine Key

Recognizing the invaluable roll physical rehabilitation plays in the health, wellness, and vigor of a person’s life, Lower Keys Medical Center has focused energy and enthusiasm into the expansion of its therapy services in Key West and Big Pine Key.
The recruitment of new staff and talent to the therapy team has been the driving force behind this exciting enhancement. New services offered will be; Pediatric Physical Therapy, Lymphedema Management, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, and Sports Performance Conditioning, as well as it existing Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services.
Lisa Tubbs, Physical Therapist comes to our therapy center with over 25 years of experience and a passion for healing kids. Maggie Evans, Registered Occupational Therapist and a Nationally Certified Lymphedema Therapist, will lead the new Lymphedema Management Program. Drew Johnson, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Josh Clark, with a Master of Physical Therapy degree are the experts behind the Sports Medicine and Sports Performance Programs.
Dr. Drew Johnson is an experienced and certified Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as a former competitive athlete himself. Josh Clark, also a former competitive athlete, comes to our therapy center after 5 years as a therapy staff member at Duke University. Izzy Kohler, Doctor of Physical Therapy has also joined Lower Keys Medical Center as its new Director of Therapy, bringing new energy, new services and innovation to the department.
