Lower Keys Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in echocardiography, the American College of Radiology for mammography, the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center, and by the American Heart Association and The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center.
The hospital has also been recognized with the American Heart Association's Gold Plus Get With The Guidelines Stroke quality achievement award.
Established in 1971, Lower Keys Medical Center is licensed as a 167-bed acute care hospital with 24 hour emergency department care, laboratory services, radiology procedures and medical transport.
